Pokemon Go has quickly become a cultural phenomenon that I have quite enjoyed, despite it’s faults. There are a lot of reasons to be disappointed in–and even frustrated with–Pokemon Go. Yet, I’ve found hunting, collecting, and evolving my Pokemon to be a totally engaging process. I still think the battling system needs a ton of work, and Niantic needs to implement trading and player-versus-player combat NOW, yet I can overlook all of that and take three-mile walks down town after work without batting an eye, collecting pokemon and activating pokestops along the way.
