IT Security Woes and Linux are the topic of the day with the hangout crew. We discuss recent events with Equifax and how they’re not the only cybersecurity incident worth note.
You can do some art. You can make a video. Write a blog. Build a website. Make a game. Do a podcast. Or create a post on Twitter or something. The sky’s the limit, really. Hell, you can even team up and make a project with other people! On my office PC I use Ubuntu 16.04 with GNOME 3, not to be confused with Ubuntu GNOME.
On my Steam Machine I run a regular SteamOS installation.

this is my thoughts about the movie thor: ragnarak and my overall review. as per usual when I make one of these reviews I tend to like the film, and i LOVED this one. I also do the first few minutes of this video spoiler free (though I do reference the trailer quite a bit)

Heckler threatens comedian
This is a crazy clip. A heckler wouldn’t shut up during a show, and so stand-up comedian Steve Hofstetter addressed him a few times. When the heckler insulted Steve directly, he went after him, which led more insults and a threat. After the show, something particularly crazy happened – a professional heavyweight boxer threatened to beat up the heckler for ruining the show.

here’s a little video talking about the 3 month update that we got from our nurses. won’t talk to the doctor til next week but i’m down 110 pounds, lost 7.5 inches from my waist line, and severely lowered my BMI as well.
