This is my first short film. I wrote this when I was at my lowest point. I didn’t know how to deal anymore so I decided I needed to talk openly about this. I’m tired of hiding, especially from my fans. For many of you, I’ve become the guy who’s videos you watch to brighten your day, not knowing that all the while I myself was miserable. My hope is that this video will inspire some of you to get the help you need to get better, to know you aren’t alone, and to not give up. Since recording this I’ve taken many steps to improve my mental health, and I’m happy to say I’m in a much better place, although I know this is something I will probably have to battle for the rest of my life. A special thank you to my family and friends who encouraged me to keep going and never give up throughout the years. It was through you I found strength. Extra special thanks to those friends who, after listening to me, opened up about their own struggles with mental health. You know who you are – you inspired me to make this video.
