This is a ‘boogie knight’ shield. I had this design created as the very first art I ever commissioned. IT is designed to be a ‘crest’ for the “boogie knights” which was going to be the name of a podcast that is still in production 6 years later. Originally this boogie knights crest was drawn by hand. A fan once created it in wood. Now it has been created as an actual shield by the folks here on youtube at: a pyro design.

If you owned Shovel Knight before the release of Specter of Torment, then your copy of the game was automatically upgraded to Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove, which contains this DLC. That’s a bold move by the developers since Specter of Torment could have been a standalone title, in my opinion. In fact, that’s why I bought the DLC through The Humble Store. Yatch Club Games continues to impress, and they deserve to be paid for their hard work. If you enjoyed the original Shovel Knight, or you have a nostaligic itch you want to scratch, give this DLC a spin.
