The 90s never left us. As the school shootings pile up, politicians – including that orange one who is a politician by default – have decided to shift blame away from guns to games.

Because that makes sense.

On my office PC I use Ubuntu 17.10 with the stylish Pop! theme by System76.

On my Steam Machine I now run Ubuntu 16.04 with the Steam Compositor and nomodeswitch packages installed. (This is because later versions of Ubuntu have PIE enabled by default which prevents me from using Dolphin)

Metal Gear Survive is here, and it’s worse than I expected.

I thought they’d at least TRY and make it feel like Metal Gear, but instead it truly is a derivative, irritating, bog-standard survival game.

There was so much rubbish to laugh at I forgot to even mention the microtransactions!
