“Cell Phones are just the worst” – Lunduke Weekly Rant – Jan 29, 2018

Cell phones.  They suck.  They spy on you.  They make you less happy.  Hell, the “father of the cell phone” isn’t even a big fan of them.  Cell phones are just… the worst.

Common questions:
What distro do you use?
On my office PC I use Ubuntu 17.10 with the stylish Pop! theme by System76.

On my Steam Machine I now run Ubuntu 16.04 with the Steam Compositor and nomodeswitch packages installed. (This is because later versions of Ubuntu have PIE enabled by default which prevents me from using Dolphin)

Linux and the Hacker Mystique – Unleaded Hangouts

Linux and the Hacker Mystique probably sounds like a new Harry Potter novel. In reality, this episode instead tackles the growing premise in the media that if you use Linux, you might be a malicious person or a “hacker.”

This is sad as the true meaning of hacker is actually a positive thing and not to be confused with the negative concept seen elsewhere.

“The Media & UFOs” – The Lunduke Files – Jan 26th, 2018

These are the Lunduke Files for January 26th, 2018.  Today we’re talking about the mainstream media — primarily the big TV news — and how they cover (or fail to cover) UFOs and related news stories.  Even when it would benefit them to do so… and even when they don’t have other compelling news items to cover.
